Capacity Building Assistance

CA7AE is funded to provide capacity building assistance (CBA) in category B defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Below is an overview of each category:
  • Category A: Capacity Building Assistance for Community Based Organizations (CBOs). Strengthening organizational infrastructure, interventions, strategies, monitoring and evaluation for HIV prevention. View List of Funded Category A Organizations here.

  • Category B: Capacity Building Assistance for Communities. Strengthening community access to and utilization of HIV prevention services. View List of Funded Category B Organizations here.

  • Category C: Capacity Building Assistance for Health Departments. Strengthening organizational infrastructure, interventions, strategies, community planning, monitoring and evaluation for HIV prevention. View List of Funded Category C Organizations here.

CBA Request

If you are a Community Based Organization (CBO) serving multi-ethnic populations and you are funded by CDC and want to request Community Readiness CBA contact your CDC Project Consultant.

For all other HIV/AIDS CBA requests (Indian Health Service Offices, Other CBA Providers, Health Departments, Native Health Boards, and other clinics and/or community agencies serving high-risk multi-ethnic populations) contact Dr. Barbara Plested.
